The members of the Parmenion Group are entrepreneurial investors with an ethical business approach. Whenever entering a deal, we keep in mind the old adage ‘Would you still think it is a good transaction for parties involved if you would be the counterparty and your partner in the deal would be you?’

However, this adage is not our sole drive. One of our Group investment themes is sustainability, so we decided to participate as co-founders in a newly-created charity. This Netherlands-based foundation ‘Triple F Foundation‘ has a mission statement and main goals that link directly to all three of our Group’s main investment themes New Finance, Changing World and Sustainability.

Triple F Foundation believes that a structural incorporation of rational thinking – including game theoretical considerations – will improve the management of target companies. Too often did we see that ‘social entrepreneurship’ strengthened other skills over rational and financial ones to the extent that longer-term sustainable growth of social companies was hindered.

Complex decision taking is not simply reduced to mechanical solutions. Behavioral and psychological factors play an equally important role. Triple F Foundation implements these factors in its educational programs and coaching methods. In that way IQ, EQ and Ethics all get sufficient attention and work together in taking the best possible decisions.

Obviously, a single organization cannot focus on everything at the same time in a field as broad as ‘Rational decision taking for social entrepreneurs’. Triple F Foundation did therefore define certain focus areas.

The table below links the mission of Triple F Foundation to our three investment themes and it also shows the three goals that comprise our mission and focus on ‘performance and development of social companies’.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”460″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Under the guidance of the Triple F Foundation Board all our Group companies work together on a set of projects covering our investment themes on the one hand and three different focus areas on the other. These focus areas are ‘Emerging (and Frontier) Countries’, ‘Emerging Entrepreneurs’ and ‘Emerging Gender Diversity’.

Emerging (and Frontier) Countries

We support applied educational initiatives in the poorer countries on this planet. Initiatives that improve the calculus and rational thinking skills of primary and secondary school students; and those providing state-of-the-art post-graduate courses within Economics, Business Management, Finance and Investments for talented managers and entrepreneurs who should have these skills further developed because they will help them on the career ladder.

Emerging Entrepreneurs

Within the focus area ‘Emerging Entrepreneurs’ we support entrepreneurial talents in Europe who want to embrace ‘Sustainability’ and/or ‘New Finance’ as important corporate themes in their activities. Expansion into other areas across the globe is possible at a later stage.

Emerging Gender Diversity

We believe that women are a kind of ‘Emerging Gender’ in business, politics, science and education across the globe. Therefore we support global initiatives through which the participation of women in society is promoted.

In all cases our support for the various initiatives and projects can either be financial, content-focused (e.g. through hands-on participation of Group companies or staff in them) or both.

Triple F Foundation will get its funding from Parmenion Group companies and through third-party gifts. A special role in our funding is played by the Triple F Ethical Fund of Parmenion Ethical. This Fund will purify any income it received or generated via investment activities that did not qualify as ‘fair finance’ ex-post. Triple F Foundation coordinates the required purifications that have to be undertaken by the Ethical Fund.
